Carodyl contains the most widely used non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug – Carprofen. Carprofen works by inhibiting an enzyme called cyclooxygenase (COX). This results in lower production of a substance called prostaglandins. By reducing prostaglandin levels, carprofen helps to control pain.
